Introduction

HSK is a standardized international Chinese Proficiency Test for non Chinese native speakers (including foreigners, overseas Chinese, Chinese Americans and Chinese ethnic minorities). Level 6 is the highest level of HSK in the new Chinese proficiency test. Candidates who pass HSK level 6 can easily understand the Chinese information they hear or read and express their opinions fluently in Chinese orally or in writing.

HSK is designed and developed by the Hanban and the Confucius Institute Headquarters. Hanban is an institution directly under the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China. The national Hanban develops and implements the Chinese proficiency test, including the basic Chinese Proficiency Test (abbreviated as HSK (basic), the primary and secondary Chinese Proficiency Test (abbreviated as HSK (elementary and secondary) and the advanced Chinese Proficiency Test (abbreviated as HSK (Advanced)). HSK is held regularly in China and abroad every year. Those who have achieved the required test results can obtain the corresponding level of Chinese proficiency certificate. China's Ministry of education has set up the national Chinese Proficiency Test Committee, which has the full power to lead the Chinese Proficiency Test and issue Chinese proficiency certificates.
